Painting has never been a passion, but this Artist is beginning to dabble in paint. Of special interest is dot-painting. A zen-like practice that brings pointillism into focus. I am dabbling here.

Doll Lost
This 5x7 art incorporates a cut-out photograph that I took of a lost doll (hands thrown upward) that I found on a beach. I added the doll to another photograph of rock crevices and then used the dot-technique of creating the painting around the doll. The doll was indeed lost.

Doll
This 5x7 art incorporates a cut-out doll's head (mannequin) that I found and photographed in the window at a city landfill site. I used the dot-technique of creating the painting around the doll adding her strands of hair.

Bisbee
Bisbee, Arizona is a fascinating small town on the Arizona-Mexico border. Bisbee is very photogenic. For this project, I captured a series of photograps and then incorporated what the lens saw with my paintbrush. This idea was mildly successful and deserves further exploration.
