Butterflies
Barbara stated that butterflies are among nature's most beautiful insects. The blur from a few macro closeups was intentional. The wings appear to her as abstract paintings. Much of her original butterfly collection was photographed deep within the walls of the Grand Canyon. The butterfly's were apparently feeding on a mudflat. Many humans will allow butterflies to light upon them, but perhaps not a spider (arachnid)? About spiders: Barbara does not usually photograph spiders, but does employ a catch and release system (capturing under glass) when found in their home.
